After weeks of staying home during this recent Coronavirus pandemic, I’m going to be brutally honest with you. I know everyone’s trying to see the glass half full, but I’m going to keep it real. I’ve had just a tad too much bonding. There, I’ve said it. Tired of cooking. Tired of tellling my husband where the mustard is when he’s staring right at it in the fridge, and yes, even tired of Netflix. If it weren’t for the refuge of my craft room, I’d be living in my car under a bridge with my pug. Okay, I’m dramatic. But really, crafting has kept me sane. And I have learned that – as it is with all facets of life – sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference. I’m talking about Yoplait’s Oui french yogurt jars. Before I tell you all the cool uses for these sweet little glass pots, let me just say that this yogurt is delicious. Plus it contains no GMO ingredients and no artificial flavors and colors. Just french style yogurt made with whole milk and real fruit poured into tiny glass pots to set.

But it gets better. French yogurt jars can be re-purposed for many things. Did you hear crafts? For instance, check out these ideas:
1 – plant hangers
I love these simple macrame plant hangers with yogurt jars from Decor Hint. (photo below via Decor Hint)
2 – pots for succulents
These are so incredibly sweet.
3 – glass pot catch-alls
This is a clever idea from I Spy DIY.
4 – DIY colored jars
5 – creative paint
Oui by Yoplait suggests lightly dipping clean pots into paint, then letting them dry upside down for a drippy edge. The result is sweet, and they can be used for lots of purposes.
6 – dessert cups
I especially love this idea to fill them with jello. Simple but cute!
And if these aren’t enough ideas to blow your mind, this final one will.
7 – add lids for storage
Did you know you can order custom-made lids for these little jars and use them for storage? Mind blown, right?
The biggest compliment is a little share – pin the photo below!
I love these glass jars too. When you dip them in paint, what kind of paint. Craft paint??
Kids are not currently available on Amazon now but the Oui website has them. Thanks for the info!
Lids not kids!!

Great posting. Tip on caps is great.
Love the pots dipped in paint! What an interesting technique. Thanks and hope you are staying safe!
