March is one of those in-between months. No longer winter. Not yet spring. It’s also a month that’s great for indoor hobbies. I recently learned of a company that specializes in paint-by-numbers, including custom ones (so yes, you can even paint a portrait of your pet) – Winnie’s Picks. I’m an artist; I paint, I draw, I craft. But I also enjoy some down time. And I’ve found this to be the perfect past-time that’s crafty but relaxing. So what I’m digging in March in Winnie’s Picks paint-by-numbers.
Perhaps you’re an expert with paint-by-numbers. Or perhaps you only remember an aunt or older sister having one but never actually tried it yourself. Well get ready for a treat. Winnie’s Picks includes a chart with all the paint colors numbered and labeled. The canvas also displays the paint numbers. But I do have one very important tip – have a magnifying glass handy. Sometimes those numbers are very small, especially in more detailed drawings.
This company provides the brushes, the paints, and everything you need, except a dose of patience. This you will have to provide, but the process is fun and relaxing and well worth the end result.
