I don’t know how simpler to put it. Best. Calendar. Ever. I promise.
Now that we are officially kicking off a new year, becoming more organized is probably foremost in everyone’s minds. But where to start? One tool for time management that we can all agree on is a calendar, and I’ve tried them all: leather bound day planners (too cumbersome), cell phone calendar apps (not glued to my cell phone every minute of the day), and the ugly old-school calendar on the refrigerator. But what I discovered I like best is this – one, really big, gigantic, dry-erase year-at-a-glance calendar that is not only functional but super chic.
I stumbled upon this idea last year and began using it, and it has been such an amazing organizational tool for me that I buy a new one each year from NeuYear. They have several options, but I love the really big one – 27″x 39″. I also like the paper option (as opposed to the dry-erase surface, because I house it in a sweet, rustic frame that I bought from Michael’s in my hallway.) The calendar is mounted under glass, so it naturally becomes a dry-erase surface, and I even use a different color marker for each person in the home.
Trust me on this. It’s the best. It’s also in keeping with my new mantra…
