Making an easy nautical wreath for summer has been on my to-do list for a couple years now. Okay, maybe even longer. But I finally made up my mind to make one, and it was unbelievably easy!

What you’ll need:
- styrofoam wreath form
- 2 packages clothesline rope
- wide decorative ribbon
- natural twine rope
First, you simply wrap the clothesline rope around the wreath form. Even after using 2 packages of rope, I still did not quite have enough to cover the entire form, so I wrapped the top of the wreath with ribbon. Next, I tied a bow out of the decorative ribbon. Then I loosely wound the twine rope around the wreath to give it a little more rustic feel, and I tied the twine at the top, securing the bow in place.
That’s it folks! I kept wanting to add more embellishments, but sometimes simple is best. Like this easy nautical wreath. Boating, swimming, fishing, sunning season… here I come.
