My craft club meets monthly, so I’m always searching for projects that are quick and easy. Projects that pair well with good food, ample conversation and aged wine. This easy ribbon wreath was the perfect choice, and we all went home with a pretty Spring wreath!

supplies needed:
- 10″ embroidery hoop
- 12 yds of 2 1/2″ wide wired ribbon
- 10″ wooden letter
- black spray paint
- silver wax metallic finish
- hot glue gun
step 1 – paint the letter
First, paint the wooden letter black; I used spray paint. Once dry, apply a light coat of silver metallic wax, then buff with a dry, clean cloth.
step 2 – cut the ribbon
Cut 14 pieces of ribbon 17″ in length; also cut 14 pieces that are 13″ in length. Trim the ends as shown in photo below.
step 3 – tie the ribbon
Alternating long and short pieces, tie the ribbon onto the wooden hoop. Then “fluff” the ribbon ends away from the center of the wreath. After a few pieces are tied, slide the pieces close together, with the short pieces kept on top.
step 4 – finishing touches
Using a hot glue gun, attach the wooden letter to the center of the wreath. I added a small cluster of dried flowers as an extra embellishment.
The biggest compliment is a little share – pin the photo below!
Love your creativity and the skill level that many can do. It’s beautiful
This is about the prettiest ribbon wreath I have ever seen! Such a simple and fun project!
