felt acorn garland

Sometimes I think the loveliest seasonal decorations are small subtle touches. Little handcrafted surprises in muted colors and sweet arrangements. That’s why I love these simple felted acorns strung on rustic twine. And this felt acorn garland is incredibly easy to make!

supplies needed:

attach leaves

First, snip a few leaves off an artificial greenery stem. And don’t tell me you don’t have a stash of floral supplies on hand! Glue one or two leaves on each acorn cap.

With a hot glue gun, add a small felted ball to the center of each acorn cap.

It just amazes me that this tutorial is so easy yet yields a felt acorn garland that looks so sweet and elegant. And the versatile thing about garlands is that they can be used in a myriad of ways – hung from a mantle, laced through a seasonal tablescape, or just tossed into a beautiful bowl. A small harbinger of a glorious Autumn.

The biggest compliment is a little share – pin the photo below.
