I’m amazed at how natural and organic brands are continually improving their products. I remember using Tom’s toothpaste years ago and not necessarily being “wowed” by it. However, I decided to give it another try recently, and I’m now a convert for life.

Not only am I satisfied with the product, I’m quite impressed with the company. Started in 1970 by a young couple on a hunt for unprocessed and unadulterated products for their children and a $5ooo loan, Tom’s of Maine is now a recognizable brand on store shelves everywhere. Bought by the Colgate-Palmolive company in 2006, Tom’s still holds true to its sustainable practices.
I’m anxious to try more of their products, but for now, I’m all about this little tube of toothpaste. Here’s why:
- EWG rating of 1
- Sold in many stores, such as Walmart, Walgreens, etc. Easy to find! Also available at Amazon.
- Average price $4 per tube (less at some stores).
- Why do I love it? It is conveniently found in many stores, and it is effective! I also like what I’ve learned about the company.
