I think this photo says it all. The sweetest thing about these darling tea towels, though, is how EASY they are to make. First, I bought an assortment of cloth napkins from Pier I (on sale!)
Using old fabric scraps, I made tassels, with the help of this simple tutorial from Decor8. I used a piece of yarn to tie the center of each tassel when making them. Then I stitched mismatched buttons to one edge of each napkin and simply tied the tassels around the buttons.
Oh, and the final and sweetest step – hang these sweet tea towels in your kitchen for a little funky, homespun flavor!
Such a sweet idea, they would make a perfect housewarming gift (or just keep them for yourself!)
