With Valentine’s Day soon approaching, these mini origami hearts will add a big punch to your seasonal decor. Use them as table favors, string them into a festive garland, or simply group them together in a favorite piece of pottery.

Place the back side (if there is one) of the paper facing up.
Fold the bottom edge of the paper up just a little.
Fold the top of the paper over to meet the bottom edge.
Fold the bottom left and right corners up to the top edge diagonally.
Fold the top edges of each triangle down, then open back up to leave a visible crease. Then fold the left and right corners in, placing the tips along the visible creases, as shown in photo below.
Fold the space above the side triangle down to make a crease. Then insert the newly formed triangle into the pocet of the side triangle. Repeat for the other side. (See photo below.)
Fold the four corners of the paper’s top part to the center just a little, to create a more rounded heart shape.
Now for the last and most fun step… pick up the heart, keeping the back side facing up. Blow air into the bottom of the heart to puff it up, while pressing down the middle point of the top edge. Then flip the heart over and you’re done!
