Often it is the small touches in a room that make it unique. Although I’m on a journey to a more minimalist lifestyle, I’m still a sucker for tiny details that add a bit of beauty to the world. Hence, this funky little tassel stole my heart.
I have a guest bedroom in my beach condo that sports an aqua ceiling and pink and orange duvet covers from Urban Outfitters. So cool. In between the two beds is a gray nightstand just screaming for a bit of embellishment. I knew instantly that I wanted to hang a tassel from its drawer.
I came across this simple tutorial from Common Thread, and followed it to create this tassel made from leftover yarn and pompom scraps.
Yep, sometimes simple is best. Beauty is in the details.
Love it, pinned it. I’m a sucker for tassels and pom poms.
Thanks. I love Pom Poms too!
