make your home smell like anthropologie
That’s right. Your home can smell just as exotic and therapeutic as my favorite store, Anthropologie. Thanks to Apartment Therapy, I’ve finally uncovered the secret. In a recent article, AT revealed the one reason Anthropologie smells so welcoming. A CANDLE. More specifically, Capri’s Blue Volcano candle. It’s a comfortable smell with a bit of citrus and sugar. Anthropologie confessed they keep one lit by the door so buyers immediately smell this wonderful frangrance upon entering the store. Now, you can too! I bought one recently and have already reeled in compliments from houseguests.
be kind to your feet
My husband equates Birkenstock sandals with hippies. I equate them with comfort. In fact, I usually buy a new pair every year. Having suffered from Plantar Fasciitis as well as other foot injuries in the past, I can also attest to the fact that the unique construction of Birkenstocks are good for your feet. The foot bed mimics the natural contours of your foot, and it aligns and guides your foot into a healthy walking position. I also just love their free spirited designs, and they are constantly debuting new looks. So what are you waiting for? Be kind to your feet.
get healthy
In February I challenged my readers to join me in food tracking, a huge step towards learning to eat healthier. I also shared my fondness of Weight Watchers’ online app. Well, I still love Weight Watchers, but I’ve found a tool I love even more. (Sorry, WW, but it wouldn’t be fair to keep my findings to myself.) NOOM. This is a weight loss app & program that is psychology based to help you build new habits for life. I’ve been using it for three weeks and can definitely see how my thinking as well as my habits are changing. I first saw an ad for Noom asking, “Are you still using My Space? Then why are you still on Weight Watchers?” (or something like that. I’m paraphrasing big time) That reeled me in, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Hi Wendy, I assume you are presently from Canada. I was Canadian by ancestry but born in MA. In what Province of Canada are you living. I am now living in GA with my hubby of 56 years. Needless to say I always love hearing from someone from Canada since my ancestry is near and dear to my heart
So glad you stopped by my blog! And I hate to disappoint but I’m not Canadian. “My french twist” is because I’m a Francophile and am so inspired by all things french. My husband is french. Lol! Please keep following along though😊
