It’s fair to say I’m currently going through my wooden bead phase. (I love beads, for the record.) And my latest project is this wooden bead napkin ring. The leather cording and natural wood lend a boho flavor, and it’s so EASY to make. I’ll show you…

supplies needed
- 2mm leather cording
- scissors
- small round wooden beads
- polygon shape wooden beads
First, cut a piece of leather cording approximately 15″ long. Tie a knot in one end, as shown below.
Next, string a small wooden bead followed by a polygon shaped bead onto the cord.
Now bring the unknotted end of the leather cord around and back through the polygon shaped bead.
Slide a cloth napkin through the circle, then pull the unknotted end of the cord tightly. Add another small bead onto the cord and secure it with a knot. And there you have it – a sweet wooden bead napkin ring.
These are so classy, and so simple to make too. Lovely.
thank you , Julie!
